Refund Policy
Last updated: 10 June 2026
This Refund Policy explains when you can get your money back, how to ask, and how long it takes. It sits alongside our Terms of Use.
This page explains our practices in plain language. It is not legal advice.
1. When you are refunded
- If an organiser cancels an event, you are refunded the full ticket price.
- If an organiser materially changes an event, such as a new date or venue, and you cannot attend, you may request a refund of the ticket price.
Tickets are otherwise non-refundable unless the organiser's own policy or your local consumer law gives you a further right.
2. The service fee
Globiqo's service fee is non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, because it pays for the service already provided in selling you the ticket. The ticket price itself is refunded in full when an event is cancelled.
3. How to request a refund
Open the ticket in the app and use the refund option, or contact hello@globiqo.app with your order reference. For events run by a white-label organiser, the request may be handled by that organiser under their own policy.
4. How long it takes
Refunds are returned through Paystack to your original payment method and may take five to seven business days to appear, depending on your bank.
5. Disputed transactions
If you do not recognise a charge, contact us at hello@globiqo.app before raising a chargeback, so we can find the order and sort it out quickly.
6. Contact us
Any refund question can be sent to hello@globiqo.app.
